On Wednesday, UConn announced a home-and-home series with Michigan that will begin on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026 in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines will make the return trip to Connecticut in 2027-28.
The two teams squared off for the first time ever this past November at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Huskies led by as many as 20 in the second half, only for Michigan to roar back to within one possession three times in the final minute. Ultimately, Azzi Fudd came up clutch down the stretch and drilled four straight
free throws in the final moments to secure a 72-69 victory.
Michigan went on to earn a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament and reached the Elite Eight for just the second time in program history. The Wolverines should be good again next year as their core of rising juniors — led by Syla Swords and Olivia Olson — continues to develop.
This will be UConn’s first-ever game in the state of Michigan.
The Huskies now have four dates on their 2026-27 schedule: At Michigan (Nov. 5), South Carolina at Mohegan Sun Arena (Nov. 24), Duke at TD Garden in Boston (Nov. 28) and Maryland at Barclays Center (Dec. 5).
UConn is also slated to travel to Nashville for a neutral-site matchup with LSU, then have away trips scheduled to Louisville, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida State. The Huskies don’t have a single home non-conference game on the books at the moment.
