Barcelona captain Raphinha says he would be happy to extend his contract at the club and would love to spend the rest of his career at Camp Nou.
The Brazilian was once again linked with an exit in the summer but opted to stay and has started the season in sensational form.
Barcelona are hoping to tie him down to a new contract, and Raphinha says he would be happy to commit to more years with Hansi Flick’s side.
“I renewed until 2028 with the idea that, by then, I would be 30 or 31 years old and I didn’t
know how I would manage,” he told RAC1.
“But given how I’ve started the season, I understand that I have enough to last a few more years. So, yes, I would be happy to extend my contract a little and finish my career here without having to go anywhere else.”
Raphinha will be back in action on Saturday against Sevilla and will be hoping to add to his tally of nine league goals already this season at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
