Good morning, baseball fans!
Things have not been going great for the San Francisco Giants lately. A week ago, playoffs seemed like a real possibility. Now the Giants have lost four of their last five games, with those losses being to their direct competition, of course. And those playoff hopes are slipping away almost as fast as my ability to say no to a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
So of course, here come the Los Angeles Dodgers! Again. To kick us while we’re down! Probably. So let’s set some reasonable
hopes and expectations for this incoming series.
Obviously, the correct answer is and always will be to BEAT L.A.! Four times in a row, if you can. But I said reasonable hopes and expectations.
So my very reasonable hope is that they don’t get swept. And that they don’t lose by double digits in every game. That feels very reasonable to me. Although maybe not so much, after watching this team over the last few games.
What are you looking for in the Dodgers series?
