During the season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.
The Browns are coming off a loss to the Baltimore Ravens,
but with Shedeur Sanders set to make his first career start this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, fan confidence increased by 13 percentage points up to 23%. That’s nothing to write home about, but it’s still indicative of the optimism fans are trying to hang on to in this dismal, 2-8 season. The Raiders don’t have that same degree of faith right now, as just 6% of fans have confidence in the direction of their team.
We one other question to fans this week, and of course it was about Sanders. Specifically, we asked what fans’ expectations are for his first career start. I think it’s fair to say that he looked lost in the second half last week against Baltimore, and 36% of fans think he’ll continue to look lost this week. However, 56% of fans think he’ll show at least some improvement, and 8% are going a step further in saying that he will light it up and shine.
