Fernando Mendoza, Indiana football’s first Heisman Trophy winner and national championship-winning quarterback, is set to make his NFL preseason debut today.
The Las Vegas Raiders, which selected Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in this past spring’s NFL Draft, are set to host the Arizona Cardinals for a preseason contest this evening at Allegiant Stadium. It’ll be a rematch between Mendoza and former Miami quarterback Carson Beck, who led the Hurricanes to the national championship game before
being selected in the same NFL Draft.
The Raiders are expected to play their starters for some of the game but Mendoza is also expected to make his debut in the silver and black.
Being an out-of-market preseason game, unless you’re in Arizona or Nevada, there’s no television option. The game will, however, be available for stream via the NFL+ app. If you’re interested in that, learn more about how to watch below:
