Tommy Gannt continued his Octagon takeover earlier today (Sat., Sept. 12, 2026) at Noche UFC 4 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, as the undefeated lightweight wrestler sliced through veteran Drakkar Klose to earn a late third-round submission (reverse triangle choke).
On paper, Gannt was expected to have his way with Klose. While Klose is a tough out who is rarely finished inside of the Octagon he is 38 years old and only had one UFC win over the past two years.
Oddsmakers were certainly backing Gannt as he opened and closed as a heavy betting favorite, but you never really know how these fights play out until they actually do.
This wasn’t a pretty performance from either fighter, but Gannt was able to control almost every second of action with his grappling and cage work. Fans started to boo as they wanted more offensive action. Gannt eventually gave them what they wanted as took Klose’s back late into the third round and locked up a reverse triangle choke. It allowed Gannt to squeeze Klose’s neck while landing hard elbows to the face, which eventually forced the tap.
