The Kentucky Wildcats are finally entering a game with an SEC win under their belts, as now they get prepared for a rivalry date with the Florida Gators under the lights of Kroger Field on Saturday night.
With a tough season overall happening to this point, the Cats finally have some positive momentum as we enter into their final chance for an SEC home win this season. Luckily, they may be doing so, returning one of their best defensive players.
DJ Waller has been out all season (besides a half against Toledo), and it seemed like a situation where we might not see the talented defensive back again this season after the setback a few weeks ago. Well, we have some good news tonight as he enters the weekend with a probable designation. There is still a lot of time to go, but it seems things are lining up to see the cornerback take the field.
For Florida, it will be a light crew for them potentially in the wide receiver room, as Dallas Wilson has been ruled out for the season after his injury against Georgia. The Gators also have Vernell Brown and Aidan Mizell listed as questionable in the first practice report of the week.
A lot is on the line this weekend. Let’s see if the Cats can pull it off.
