Joe Rogan already has one of the most successful podcasts of all time, but his show nearly reached new heights (literally) last year thanks to a unique invitation by YouTube sensation, MrBeast.
It’s no secret that Rogan is one of the most successful podcast hosts in the world. Back in 2020, Rogan signed an exclusive deal with Spotify for $100 million. The UFC color commentator hit some speedbumps along the way, but Rogan’s podcast has delivered huge numbers over the past five years. In fact, his Joe
Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast finished No. 1 last year for Apple’s “most popular podcasts of 2025.”
MrBeast, who has a staggering net worth of nearly $2.6 billion, has been on Rogan’s podcast once before. The episode currently has 3.2 million views on YouTube (watch HERE). It was a successful meeting between two of the top podcast/show hosts in the world today so MrBeast wanted to try to take things to an entirely new level.
During a recent appearance on Steve-O’s podcast, MrBeast revealed that he almost coaxed Rogan into doing another podcast, but this time on top of the pyramids in Egypt. MrBeast was able to get approval from the Egyptian government one year ago to film 100 hours inside the pyramid. This gave him the idea to bring Rogan out and film an episode of JRE on top of one of the incredible structures. Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts squashed those plans.

“We were this close to doing a podcast with Joe Rogan on top of the pyramid,” MrBeast told Steve-O. “He couldn’t make it out and make it work. He had a completed schedule. Then I couldn’t move it. The days you get the pyramid are just the f—king days you get the pyramid. I thought it would be so funny, but he also does it in his studio and doesn’t travel”
“I think international is a tall order for Joe [Rogan] these days,” replied Steve-O.
“But imagine we’re on top of the middle of the pyramid. It’s just his normal desk and we’re in the middle pyramid sitting on top and we’re just cranking out a podcast. I thought that would have been so cool,” said MrBeast.
