NFL draft week is finally upon us!
In honor of the beginning of draft week, today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by examining the latest batch of mock drafts to see who the pundits think the Bills will take with pick No. 26 at the end of the first round.
Among the positions that seem to be receiving the most votes among mock drafters are wide receiver, linebacker, and edge rusher, including Malachi Lawrence out of the University of Central Florida (pictured below).
Examining potential fits for the Bills at No. 26
In our last Mock Draft Monday
exercise, we aren’t seeing a lot of uniformity among the mock drafters. Among the players being linked to Buffalo at pick 26 are: edge rushers like Lawrence, Texas A&M’s Cashius Howell, Clemson’s T.J. Parker, and a new name, Illinois’ Gabe Jacas.
There are a few mock drafters who think the Bills could shore up the interior of their offensive line, with names like Oregon’s Emmanuel Pregnon and Texas A&M’s Chase Bisontis being connected with Buffalo’s first-round pick.
Among the other names being tied to the Bills: Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion, Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez (pictured below), Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell, Georgia linebacker CJ Allen, Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald, Auburn defensive end Keldric Faulk, and Oregon safety Dillon Thieneman.
