Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany was extremely pleased with his squad as it dismantled Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-1 in the Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena.
“Apart from the goal we conceded in the end it was perfect. We showed good intensity. The guys who were on the pitch showed why they deserve to play. They used the chance and didn’t disappoint. I said at the start of the season that I have confidence in the entire squad. When Harry (Kane) is out, we have other guys who can get the goals.
Today, we scored four,” Kompany said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Bayern Munich was just dominant and never was seriously threatened by an overmatched Gladbach side, who was scuffling to keep its head above water.
Now, Bayern Munich must prepare to face Atalanta in the Champions League, which appears to be a tougher task than the test that Gladbach was supposed to provide.
