Bayern Munich is getting warmed up for the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup and the start of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season. In their penultimate tune-up game of the preseason, the Bavarians will host RB Leipzig in the 2026 Telekom Cup.

Bayern haven’t lost to Leipzig in seven games, last tasting defeat in the 2023 DFL-Supercup. This was Harry Kane’s debut for the club.
Vincent Kompany is the former teammate of current Leipzig coach Martín Demichelis at Manchester City. Both players played for the Mancunians from 2013 to 2016.
Bayern is likely to rest Harry Kane and Michael Olise to keep them fit for the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup against Borussia Dortmund next weekend.
