Nothing like some good ol’ June 1 moves to shake up the offseason, huh?
The Rams, Browns, Patriots, and Eagles were all involved in big-time trades yesterday, and while the landscape of the entire league didn’t change, there were certainly some significant seismic shifts.
The Packers will feel the effects of both trades; they’ll face newly acquired Myles Garrett and the Rams in their much-discussed Thanksgiving Eve matchup, but before then they’ll have to face A.J. Brown (and Romeo Doubs) with the New
England Patriots. And that’s assuming the Packers don’t end up meeting the Rams in the playoffs.
Neither move necessarily makes the new team into an unbeatable juggernaut, but I think it’s fair to say both the Rams and Patriots are harder to beat now than they would have been a couple of days ago.
Fortunately, the Packers don’t play the Rams or Patriots in June. They have growing of their own to do over the next few months. The needle has moved, but we’ll see where the balance of power ends up. The work continues, as it always does.
Blockbuster trade adds even more intrigue to Packers’ Thanksgiving Eve road trip | Packers Wire
The Thanksgiving Eve game was already looking like the best game on the schedule, and the Myles Garrett trade just ramps up the appeal.

The Garrett trade wasn’t the only swap to go down yesterday. Is this the most Howie Roseman line ever?
