The New York Giants 2026 schedule has been out for a week at this point.
It isn’t quite as daunting as their 2025 schedule was, but it has multiple highlights throughout the 18 weeks. Now that we’ve all had a chance to digest the schedule as well as start to get a feel for how the team is coming together under John Harbaugh, we wanted to know which game Giants fans have circled this year.
I can’t say that I’m surprised that Week 1 got the most votes. After all, it’s the season opener, the home opener, Sunday
Night Football, and a showdown with the Giants’ biggest rival.
This game against the Cowboys is a chance to avenge a game the Giants should have won, show the world what the Harbaugh Giants can do, and serve as a yardstick for how far the team has come over the 2026 offseason.
That said, I AM a bit surprised that it’s this lopsided. Personally, I thought each of those games is wildly interesting and each has the opportunity for the Giants to make a statement to the rest of the NFL. It is, perhaps, notable that the games got votes in descending order of when they appear in the schedule. It’s possible that fans just aren’t as interested in later games and are perhaps holding out to see if the Giants can play meaningful football beyond Halloween before they get excited for games in the second half of the season.
I should also note that the game against the Indianapolis Colts was heavily mentioned in the comments of our poll. We’ll chalk that one up as an honorable mention.
