Goal Keeper Switch Done: Ederson to Turkey, Donnarumma to Manchester City

The club seems to have completed the keeper switcharoo as the details of both deals have been revealed:

The deals seems fair for both sides all things considered, this from friend of the blog also makes sense as to how City saw the whole ordeal.

On Donnarumma, surely it’s as simple as this:

– Ederson wants out

– Club don’t view Trafford ready for #1 yet (probably fair)

– No GK close to Ederson’s passing ability

– Sign the next best thing in terms of shot-stopping ability instead

With it a player who wanted to leave and a club that needed a suitable competitor for the new young star in Trafford. On we move as the deal does strengthen an already strong position group for the club, City need to get other positions, but for now Pep will have to make due with what is done.
