It was a Saturday night blackout showdown between #1 Nebraska and #7 Wisconsin. There was a lot of back and forth throughout the game, but the Huskers never backed down and made their fifth sweep in a row of the Badgers.
Harper Murray was a beast. She had 19 kills hitting .455 and an ace on the night. Andi Jackson also had double digit kills with 11, she also had two blocks on the night.
The Huskers had 9 blocks on the night. They hit .396 and held the Badgers to .171.

for the Badgers with 12 kills on the night.
Nebraska 3, Wisconsin 0
Set 1 Nebraska 25, Wisconsin 23
The first rally started with an incredible save by the Huskers, but Wisconsin hit high hands and the Husker block and after a review got the first point of the game. The two teams battled back and forth early in the game. Wisconsin took the lead 8-6 some early Husker errors. The Huskers went on a 4-0 run to come ahead 14-13. The two teams battled point for point. Until Wisconsin went on a 5-1 and went up 18-17. The Husker’s weren’t going to lay down though and took the lead 20-18. Olivia Mauch showed exactly why she is the Nebraska Libero with a beautiful pancake and another dig to help the Huskers win a monster rally and go up 22-19. The Huskers got set point on a strong Andi Jackson kill, but then an ace serve and a Husker error brought the set to 24-23. After four set points, Nebraska sealed the deal with a Harper Murray back row kill.
The Huskers hit .231 on the set, while holding the Badgers to .192. Teraya Sigler led all hitters with 5 kills, hitting .571.
Set 2 Nebraska 25, Wisconsin 13
The first three Husker points were scored on Harper Murray kills. The Badgers went on a 4-0 scoring run and went up 6-4. The Huskers block came alive with two in a row. It was a battle back and forth with both teams picking up everything. Nebraska went in to the media time out 15-10. Harper Murray ended a long rally with her 10th kill of the night. The Huskers were the first to 20. Going ahead 20-11. The Huskers really took off and ended up taking the set in a dominant fashion.
Harper Murray leads all hitters with 13 kills and Andi Jackson was also in double digits after this set with 10.
The Huskers hit .424 on the set while holding Wisconsin to just .053.
Set 3 Nebraska 25, Wisconsin 20
Nebraska missed serves early and the back and forth battle had the teams tied at 4. This set was a lot of back and forth once again, with both teams going on short runs and then the other team catching up. The Huskers were the first to 15. Once again the Husker block came alive and brought the Huskers ahead 21-18. Wisconsin finally lost it’s first of 4 challenges on an outserve, that Murray qucikly got out of the way of. The Huskers take the game on a Harper Murray kill.
