If you live in Detroit or really anywhere in the state of Michigan right now, it may not feel like summer even though it is indeed the middle of July. Wildfires in Canada have engulfed much of the northern part of the United States in a thick layer of smoke, causing various cities, including Metro Detroit, to issue air-quality warnings urging citizens to stay indoors. And while we are inching closer and closer to the start of Detroit Lions training camp, we have a few more weeks to get through in the meantime.
That brings us to today’s summer-themed question of the day:
Which Lions player or coach would you most want to invite to your wedding?
My answer: Several years ago, prior to the arrival of coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes, this may have been a tougher question to answer. However, these days there is no shortage of personality on Detroit’s roster,
From the players to the coaches, I think there are plenty of directions you could go with in this hypothetical scenario.
I am going with Lions running backs coach Tashard Choice, followed closely by receiver Jameson Williams. If you haven’t already noticed, Choice has a ton of personality, and seems like a genuinely kind human being. If you needed him to, he could deliver one heck of a speech, and with his Georgia roots, I would even trust him if he wanted to control the music at the reception.
What about you? If you could invite any Lions player or coach to your wedding, who would it be and why? Let us know in the comments below.
