What is the story about?
Happy Sunday everybody! I’m back! I sincerely hope that I bring some offense with me. Time will tell, as it so often does.
The Mariners offense continues to spurt and sputter as it has now been THIRTEEN days since the team has scored more than three runs in a game. One way or another, the Mariners will not be .500 after tomorrow’s series finale in Cleveland that starts at 10:40 am PST.
In Mariners news…
- The Mariners cancelled the piggyback start that was scheduled for yesterday’s game, which means that Emerson Hancock will start today’s game and George Kirby will start tomorrow in Seattle.
- The Trade Deadline looms on the horizon, and the Mariners may be more motivated than ever to take go take some swings. Adam Jude at the Seattle Times weighed a handful of options.
- Do you feel as though your favorite baseball team’s offense is stuck in a rut? Unable to score more than a scant handful of runs on most days? Well good news! There is a website just for you!
