The Cincinnati Bengals have maybe the highest expectations in franchise history this season. After overhauling their defense in the offseason, their always-dangerous offense will look to keep carrying the load, with a solid defensive unit to fall back on.
Something that should help the offense is tight end Erick All Jr. being back and healthy. During the 2024 season, All was looking to establish a consistent role in the Bengals’ offense before tearing his ACL nine games into his rookie season. Complications
from the surgery to repair that tear wound up costing him the entire 2025 season.
When speaking to the media on Tuesday, head coach Zac Taylor gave a promising update on All, who didn’t play this preseason.
Taylor said that All is not only fully cleared, but will be involved in the game plan. All told reporters during training camp that he felt ready to play, noting that he got hit by a small truck while vacationing overseas. All said that after that happened, he knew he was ready for football.
All’s injury history dates all the way back to college, so injuries will always be a concern. Even knowing that, it doesn’t appear that Taylor is planning to ease All back into game action.
All has shown flashes as a receiver, but brings a great blocking element to the Bengal offense as well. Look for him to be on the field plenty this season.
