Week 3 of the NFL season tied an NFL record for the most one-score games in NFL history with a total of 12 games coming down to a possession. It made for a wild weekend in the NFL and for sports bettors. Once again, my weekly picks produced a 9-7 result with teams like the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles losing in shocking upsets. That brings my season record to 27-21 (.562).

My Week 4 Picks
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns — Thurs., 8:15 p.m. ET
Aaron Rodgers is coming off a strong game in Week 3 while the Browns have managed
a 2-1 start. Rodgers won’t have as strong of game in Week 4 but he’ll get past the Browns.
My Pick: Steelers 24-20
Indianapolis Colts @ Washington Commanders — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
Washington could be dangerous at home for the Colts that are use to be playing indoors. I’ll ride with Shane Steichen and the Colts to try to keep pace with Jacksonville in the AFC South.
My Pick: Colts 26-20
New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
The Patriots have had strong games against Josh Allen in the past but the Bills are a different team this year while Drake Maye has taken a serious step back and is still without AJ Brown.
My Pick: Bills 30-17
New York Jets @ Chicago Bears — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
Former assistant coaches in Detroit get to square off. I have to imagine that Ben Johnson will have the upper hand on Aaron Glenn.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cincinnati Bengals — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
Two of the best quarterbacks in the AFC, Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow. Jacksonville just smacked New England while Cincinnati lost a divisional game. Give me the Bengals in a response at home.

Arizona Cardinals @ New York Giants — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
The Giants just traded for JJ McCarthy but I believe they will let Winston have another start since he got the win last week. Look for LaFleur to do what McVay did to the Giants defense in Week 2.

Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
At some point the Rams need to make a statement about the type of season they want to have and I believe this game has to be it. LA has lost to Philadelphia three times in the last two seasons and it’s time for Sean McVay to get Nick Sirianni. The Eagles are extremely one dimensional and it begins with taking away Saquon Barkley in the run game. The Eagles are only going to throw sideline fades and quick slants… SO MAKE JALEN HURTS THROW OVER THE MIDDLE.

Green Bay Packers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
Both Green Bay and Tampa Bay are in tail spins. But at least Green Bay has a healthy quarterback even though their offensive line is putrid.
My Pick: Packers 24-10
Tennessee Titans @ Baltimore Ravens — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
This could be a trap game for Baltimore after traveling to Brazil the week before. But… this is a King Henry type game.

Dallas Cowboys @ Houston Texans — Sun., 1:00 p.m. ET
Both teams are in strong need of a win. But the Texans might be a little more desperate putting Brian Schottenheimer a little bit on the hot seat if they start 1-3.

Miami Dolphins @ Minnesota Vikings — Sun., 4:05 p.m. ET
The Dolphins just lost the one offensive player they could not afford to lose. Good luck now against Brian Flores defense.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Las Vegas Raiders — Sun., 4:25 p.m. ET
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs aren’t slowing down any time soon.

Denver Broncos @ San Francisco 49ers — Sun., 4:25 p.m. ET
Denver is coming off an emotional high with their comeback win over the Rams. The reason the 49ers will win this game is simple. The Broncos start slow. Kyle Shanahan can jump out to a lead and then run the ball with Christian McCaffrey to play ball control and force Bo Nix into mistakes.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Seattle Seahawks — Sun., 4:25 p.m. ET
The poor Chargers. Just an absolute brutal schedule to start the year. To add insult to it all the Seahawks are coming off a disappointing loss to a Commanders team that was quarterbacked by Marcus Mariota.

Detroit Lions @ Carolina Panthers — Sun., 8:20 p.m. ET
The Lions have a defensive problem and I think Carolina could catch the Lions, especially on Sunday Night Football. It’s going to be a shootout…

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints — Mon., 8:15 p.m. ET
The Falcons were able to unleash Bijan against the Packers. The Falcons have also had extra time to prepare for this game. But in New Orleans?
