Yann Aurel Bisseck failed to meet Julian Nagelsmann’s requirements for Germany’s 26-man squad, but that doesn’t mean the 25-year-old center-back isn’t garnering interest. In fact, Bisseck has caught the eye of Germany’s record champions, Bayern Munich.
According to transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bisseck is amongst the names Rekordmeister are considering.
Bayern are monitoring the situation of Yann Aurel Bisseck at Inter. Bayern wants to sign a defender this summer – Bisseck is one
of the names they’re following, but not the only one on the list.
Bayern are looking to bolster their defensive ranks in the Summer transfer window as question marks hang over the future of both Kim Min-jae and Hiroki Ito. Manchester City’s Joško Gvardiol is another player who has been linked to the Bavarian side, however, his reported €90m price tag could prove to be an insurmountable hurdle.
Valued at €40m according to Transfermarkt, 25-years-old, and a fine physical fit for Kompany’s system, Bisseck could provide a long-term, value for money solution to Bayern’s defense.
Despite fulfilling more of a squad role with Inter Milan, the Nerazzurri will be reluctant to let their six foot five inch talent go, especially considering fellow center-back, Alessandro Bastoni, may be headed for the exit amidst heavy interest from Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona.
Nonetheless, Bisseck remains an interesting, budget friendly profile for Vincent Kompany’s Bayern side.
