Hard to believe that the NFL season is already 1/3 of the way over. Also hard to believe is the fact that my beloved Tampa Bay Bucs are still looking for their second week of the season. Ugh. In more local NFL news the Indianapolis Colts fired their GM so maybe that will fix things? Word is they are talking to Peyton Manning either for him to take the job or for him to provide a recommendation for the job. It’s an interesting way to go but if I’m Manning there’s no chance I’m taking that job. Right
now he does the Manningcast for a bunch more money and far less hassle than he would have in his life if he became Colts GM. Plus, he’s a Colts legend so taking the chance that the owners of the Colts would eventually have to fire him doesn’t seem worth the risk to me.

Marcus Mbow – NY Football Giants – Mbow started at right tackle for the Giants. This was his 4th career start. He did commit a costly false start penalty. The Giants lost to the Saints 34-27.
Tracy and Mbow both being on the Giants also gave us this picture which is glorious.
Payne Durham – Tampa Bay Bucs – Durham had no receptions again in this game keeping guys like me incredibly frustrated that he’s not being utilized. The Bucs lost 26-19 to the Steelers in overtime.
Reese Taylor – Miami Dolphins – Inactive.
Aidan O’Connell – Las Vegas Raiders – DNP. Raiders lost to the Bills 33-30.
Charlie Jones – NY Football Giants – Jones returned 4 punts for 33 yards and 3 kickoffs for 67 yards. Combined for 100 return yards. The Giants lost to the Saints 34-27.
