Well the Braves’ season is over, despite Tyler Mahle’s and Michael Harris’ best efforts. Now we move into the offseason that holds ample uncertainty for the sport and for the team. A lockout is essentially inevitable at this point and the owners seem geared up to instigate the most contentious set of CBA negotiations in decades as they push for a salary cap. The status of next season is very much in question. Meanwhile, this Braves team may be undergoing coaching changes and has significant player
needs. If you thought a starting pitcher was a must last year, its much more of a necessity this year, though hopefully the return of Tyler Mahle can mitigate that issue. The team is also in need of an injection of talent on offense, as the offense has really struggled since a historically productive 2023, followed by an incredibly unlucky 2024 and the subsequent firing of Kevin Seitzer.
