Week 10 of the NFL regular season came to a close with 18 Maryland football alumni seeing the field.
Stefon Diggs and the New England Patriots kept the hot stretch going against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In a 28-23 road win, Diggs recorded five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. Sunday was the third straight game the 31-year-old has scored at least once.
The Patriots sit 8-2 and atop the AFC East. This is the best start to a season the franchise has had since Tom Brady’s final season in New England,
in 2019. The team also hasn’t won at least eight games in a season since 2022.
Seven games remain in the season, and the Patriots have at least five games against teams that are below .500 at the end of Week 10.
To open Week 11, they will take on the New York Jets at home on Thursday Night Football Nov. 13.
