The Las Vegas Raiders have a big Week 9 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. They will be looking to get over 500 after losing four in a row.
One player will be lighter in his pockets heading into Sunday’s game. Jeremy Chinn had a big hit on Garret Wilson in Week 8 in their win vs. the Jets. The NFL announced on Saturday that he will be fined $17,911 for the hit.

It is not surprising he was fined for the hit. Usually, when you face any type of personal foul penalty involving a big hit, the NFL cracks down on the player. It is part of their push for player safety and an attempt to reduce concussions in the game.
Chinn joins Maxx Crosby as the NFL’s first player to be hit with a charge while playing for the Raiders. Crosby was hit heading into Week 8, and now Chinn is the next Raider to have a fine.
