DAZN, 1:00 pm ET, Moses Itauma vs Jermaine Franklin. From Manchester, England. Itauma is 21 now, a high hopes UK heavyweight hero in the making who took a huge step up in August, blasting Dillian Whyte in less than two minutes. Franklin was a candidate for Next Great American Heavyweight until he hit his ceiling against Mr. Whyte in late 2022, then again against Anthony Joshua in his next fight. He scuffed around in regional shows for a while, then popped up on the Canelo-Crawford undercard to take
away Ivan Dychko’s “0” and maybe start working himself back in the second tranche of the division. It’s a Queensberry show, so you know it’s called “Magnificent 7.” Undercard features Liam Davies and Francesco Grandelli fighting for a vacant European featherweight title, Willy Hutchinson vs Ezra Taylor, Shakiel Thompson vs Brad Pauls, plus Nathan Heaney. BLH will have live updates
ProBoxTV, 5:30 pm ET, Bryan Acosta vs Ronny Rios. From Long Beach, California. Rene Tellez vs Maliek Montgomery is the chief support. There’s a DMG Boxing show in the same venue the night before that says it’ll be on Triller, but there’s no listing for it as of publication time. So, maybe two straight nights of Long Beach boxing action!
Amazon Prime PPV, 8:00 pm ET, Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman. From Las Vegas, Nevada, for Fundora’s WBC super welterweight title. This fight was originally scheduled for October of last year, but delayed when Fundora hurt his hand two weeks before fight night. Thurman was a brilliant, exciting welterweight champion ten years ago, before chronic hand injuries derailed his career. His only pro blemish was a split decision loss to Manny Pacquiao back in 2019, and he’s fought just twice since then, most recently a move up to 154 lbs. against Brock Jarvis last year. The undercard is a sad indictment of what remains of PBC in 2026, so prepare to hear Mauro Ranallo try to fake a convincing orgasm over Yoenli Hernandez and Yoenis Tellez dispatching Terrell Gausha and Brian Mendoza, respectively. Free prelims start on Prime and YouTube at 5:30 pm ET, with the $74.99 main card starting at 8 pm ET. BLH will have live updates for the main card
Sunday, March 29th
Triller PPV, 1:30 am ET, SFC: Shockwave Championship Boxing. From Singapore. $9.99 for what looks like at least six fights, including a lot of pro debuts.
