Pittsburgh wraps up back-to-back primetime contests as they host the Green Bay Packers this Sunday night. After dropping their first game since mid-September, Mike Tomlin and the Steelers look to rebound
against a stingy Packers squad.
Pittsburgh and Green Bay sit atop their divisions despite devastating losses for both squads. The Steelers most recently came to Cincinnati a week ago on Thursday Night. The Packers lost to Joe Flacco and Cleveland in Week Three, falling to the same quarterback, formerly on a different team.
Building off their similarities, the Steelers and Packers’ defenses have underperformed thus far in 2025. Micah Parsons and Green Bay’s biggest crumble came when they tied the Dallas Cowboys in Week Four, surrendering 40 points.
For Pittsburgh, their most recent matchup causes plenty of concern as Teryl Austin’s defense had more than a few opportunities to close out the contest. The biggest came after Aaron Rodgers and Pat Freiermuth connected on a 68-yard score with just under two and a half minutes left. Flacco and Ja’Marr Chase then marched down the field in just four plays, allowing kicker Evan McPherson to ice the game late in the fourth.
Cleaning up defensively will be atop Pittsburgh’s list if they hope to beat Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, and the Packers. Here is how to ensure you do not miss a moment of the action on Sunday night.
