We are a week into the 2025 NFL season and the Arizona Cardinals are 1-0. They have a big game this week against the Carolina Panthers who are coming off a poor performance in their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they also now have a great opportunity in week three.
According to Adam Schefter, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers will be going on injured reserve, meaning he will miss the next four weeks, including the week three matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Niners.
Of course Schefter means Arizona, not Atlanta in game two, but that is neither here nor there. No, what matters is that one of the All Pro tight ends in the NFL is out, and the Arizona Cardinals very good tight end could get a nice little cushion in his quest for his first All Pro berth.
This also means the Niners will be a little less talented in the week three matchup with the Cardinals, but we will see if that matters.
Either way, you hate to see talent like Kittle on the sideline, so let’s hope it is a quick return for the All Pro.
