Here are some notes from the Las Vegas Raiders’ work day Wednesday as they begin the work week for Sunday’s game at the New York Jets:
Las Vegas head coach Klint Kubiak said there is a chance second-year wide receiver Jack Bech could be activated for Sunday’s game. He returned to practice after missing four games with a broken forearm. When Bech is activated, someone will have to be removed from the 53-man roster. Fellow 2025 draft pick and wide receiver Dont’e Thornton is on the roster for this game as well.
Reserve defensive end Patrick Johnson was the only Raiders’ player not to practice Wednesday. He suffered a stinger in a Week 7 loss to the Rams. Starting defensive end Kwity Paye was among the Raiders’ players limited in practice, because of rest reasons.
Kubiak indicated some backup offensive linemen could get a chance to play as Caleb Rogers and Jackson Powers-Johnson have struggled at right guard. Trey Zuhn or Bryce Cabeldue could get a chance to play.
Asked about the potential for trades before the November 10 deadline, Kubiak said Raiders’ general manager John Spytek and his staff is discussing multiple scenarios daily. He added that is the norm in the NFL.
For the Jets, standout rookie pass-rusher David Bailey (groin) was among six players who missed practice with a groin injury. Standout running back Breece Hall, who has missed the past several games, was limited with a quad injury.
