The United States defeated Hungary, 108-56 on Thursday afternoon in Berlin for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup quarterfinals.
The Americans shot 58.8 percent rom the field and led for all but 19 seconds of this game. Hungary was held to 34 percent shooting.
Washington Mystics guard Sonia Citron scored 2 points in 11 minutes, while Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen scored 4 points in just about as much time. Both came off the bench for the Americans where no player was on the court more than 20:25. That
player was Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark who scored 10 points. Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier led the Americans in scoring with 19 points in just 15 minutes.
For Hungary, Reka Lelik led with 12 points while Dorka Juhasz hadonly scored 2 points on 1-of-12 shooting in 31 minutes of action.
The Americans will play either Spain or Australia in the semifinals on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
