Good morning, BBN!
Well, it’s not the best morning,
The Cats took another bad loss on the chin last night. Losing at home to Georgia isn’t quite as bad as the Gonzaga blowout, but it’s closer than you might think.
This isn’t just their second consecutive loss in SEC play, or a loss to a Georgia time who has lost five of their last six games… It’s a loss that sets them up for a very dangerous ending to the season.
There are five games left, and they are going to be very difficult:
Auburn – South Carolina
– Vanderbilt – Texas A&M – Florida
South Carolina should be a win, but there’s a real chance the Cats could lose the other four, putting them in serious danger of missing the NCAA Tournament.
Wake-up calls shouldn’t be happening at this point in the season, but UK needs to make sure they are locked in for the last two weeks of the year.
Let us know how you feel in the comments.
