Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Andrus Peat has announced his retirement from the NFL. He spent the 2025 season with the Steelers, starting three games.
Peat was a first-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Stanford. He was one of the top guards in the NFL from 2018-20, earning three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances. He joined the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of the 2024 season, where he served as a backup. He played 149 snaps for the Steelers last season. In total,
he appeared in 132 games across 11 NFL seasons.
The Steelers added a new veteran guard this offseason, bringing in Brock Hoffman. The former Cowboys versatile offensive lineman played under Mike McCarthy in Dallas, and is competing for the right guard job with Spencer Anderson and Gennings Dunker.
