The Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals kicked off Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season with a long touchdown drive each. The first quarter ended with the Browns still having the ball on their first possession before scoring on a 4th and 1 with a run up the middle.
Not all was positive for Cleveland on that touchdown, as starting RT Jack Conklin was slow to get up after the touchdown. The Browns long-term right tackle has dealt with injuries throughout his career. Conklin was seen entering the blue injury
tent with the independent neurologist, indicating a concern with a head-related injury.
Conklin was seen exiting and then returning to the tent before walking to the locker room:
The team announced that Conklin was questionable to return with an eye injury, which could explain the second trip into the injury tent. With Conklin departing the game, Cornelius Lucas stepped into his spot at right tackle.
Cleveland’s offense went three-and-out on its second drive.
