Anthony Gordon has needed virtually no time to settle into life at Barcelona as the summer signing has already hit the ground running since his arrival in Catalunya.
After a couple of good games in preseason, Gordon’s debut went as well as it could have with two assists off the bench against Elche last weekend.
His first start came against Athletic Club at Camp Nou on Thursday, and the former Newcastle man had another impressive performance.
Gordon’s big price tag certainly created big expectations
but he’s been very good so far, and might be a surprise to those who hadn’t watched much of his work in the Premier League.
