Good morning, Fear the Wall.
I’m feeling pretty ambivalent about BVB on this Mondaymorning. This Saturday’s match was a gut punch, and it seems like what was a very promising start to the season has really
begun to unravel. Now that I think about it, BVB have put up quite a lot of unsavory results in the last few weeks, and it seems the fans are once again beginning to turn on the board and the coach. I really had hoped we would make it further than December before getting to this stage. I would really rather see Nico Kovac turn this around than have another new coach.
BVB News (Drama)
- Fabio Silva is reportedly unhappy with his playing time and considering a departure. The Portuguese striker only arrived in September, but with sights on the World Cup, he needs minutes.
- Maxi Beier faced some muscular injuries in training and is now questionable for tomorrow’s UCL encounter with Villarreal.
- Hans-Joachim Watze has been elected president of Borussia Dortmund, albeit unconvincingly.
Bundesliga News
- Former BVB midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud has been praised by Dino Toppmoller after a surprise first team appearance for the Eagles, where he notched a goal.
- Leipzig bounced back from a defeat in Sinsheim to claim a victory over Bremen and remain above BVB in the table.
- Monchengladbach seem to have shaken off their early season horror show, with a win over Heidenheim making it four from their last four.
Doing anything fun for Thanksgiving this year? Watching Dortmund concede more late goals, but this time with your family?
