Continuing to prove how little that Clash in Italy loss to Brock Lesnar affected him, today (June 8) Oba Femi enjoyed a lengthy serenade from the French crowd during and after his entrance to open Raw.
Once he settled that down, Femi shared the one thing he and Paul Heyman have in common — a love of spoilers. He gave the Parisians in attendance and everyone around the world on Netflix one about the King of the Ring tournament: The Ruler is going to destroy his semi-final opponent and whoever he faces
at Night of Champions at the end of the month to claim his crown.
He made it clear he’s not done with Lesnar either, calling the Beast a different b-word while accusing Brock of ducking him:
That aforementioned semi-final opponent arrived to boos that were as loud as the chants for the man he’ll face next week on Raw.
AAA Mega champion Dominik Mysterio plowed through the noise like the “20-year-veteran of the the game” that he is. Dirty Dom talked a good game, which was set-up for his Judgment Day buddy JD McDonagh to slide into the ring behind Oba with a steel chair. But even after McDonagh connected and Mysterio hit a 6-1-9, both Judgment Day-ers were flattened by Femi.
It would have been worse for Dom if his remaining Irish teammate hadn’t pulled him to safety. That allowed the Ruler to hit him with one last verbal slam. El Sucio de los Sucios deflected it with some off-mic “No he’s not”s (Eddie forever).
Who you got next week on Raw, Mysterio or Femi? And when do you think that Lesnar trilogy match happens?
