This story is moving fast. At Sacrifice, Nic Nemeth was beaten down by a mystery attacker. On Thursday, Nemeth issued a challenge for that man to face him in a match at Rebellion on April 11. Nemeth also requested that Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar be in his corner, since the PPV is in Cleveland. The next round of news is that Kosar accepted the invitation, and the mystery attacker was revealed to be AJ Francis.
Starting with Kosar’s message. The Browns legend is honored and humbled to be in Nic’s
corner.
During Impact (Apr. 2, 2026), AJ Francis brought the pain to the Home Town Man for a huge chokeslam to win.
Afterward, Francis spilled the beans with pride that he is the mystery attacker. Top Dolla accused Nemeth of stealing opportunity after opportunity. Francis has proven that he is the true showstealer of TNA. He is the best big man in the business, and that business is money, money, money.
This is an interesting choice by TNA to reveal Francis as the mystery attacker. Dolla has put in good work, especially his efforts at getting booed by the crowd. Could this be the start of a bigger push? Or, this could be all about Nemeth, which would be appropriate in stealing Francis’ opportunity at the spotlight again. Nemeth has been working heel. TNA might have wanted to craft a match that will put Nemeth as the babyface since he will be cheered anyway in his hometown at Rebellion. The last time Nemeth and Francis wrestled in singles competition was for the TNA World Championship in 2024. Nemeth won that round, but Francis came out looking impressive under pressure.
