As is basically the norm these days, the next season’s home kit arrives before the current campaign comes to an end. It can create an awkward situation or two — especially if you are in your new kit and don’t necessarily play all that well in it the first time or two and/or don’t achieve any sort of late-season goals that still remain out there for the taking.
Just as the case as 12 months ago, Juventus have yet to officially qualify for the next year’s Champions League, but the new kit has arrived.
And whoa boy, it is a beaut.
Juventus’ home kit for the 2026-27 season was officially released on Tuesday, bringing back an old-school look for what is hopefully better times come the new campaign. We get the black and white stripes back after this season’s barcode kind of style. We get a collar, too! And, to complete the trifecta, there is now a long-sleeve option for the first time in what feels like a decade or more. It is an absolutely beautiful kit in every sense, and one that makes you hope that it is being worn both in the Champions League come the fall and one that Juventus can actually win some silverware in once again.

First, let us get the description and inspiration of the kit from Juventus themselves:

For the new season, the design plays on geometric precision and clean spacing, offering a bold and confident expression. A direct reference to our Club’s history with the perfect modern energy for the challenges of contemporary football.
Elevating the jersey’s design is the return of the classic polo collar, a distinctive element inspired by the historic uniforms worn by Juventus legends, a symbol of the elegance that has always distinguished our history. Completing the aesthetic of the new kit are the subtle gold trims that embellish the club crest, the adidas performance logo, and the player numbers.The kit is completed with white shorts – enriched with coordinating gold details and black striped patterns – and white socks, for an unmistakably black and white look on the pitch.
Second, let me just say this: This kit is too good for the Europa League. This kit is too good for any secondary-level European competition. This kit needs to be in the Champions League next season just because it is so nice.
Juventus will debut their new beauty of a kit in this weekend’s home finale against Fiorentina. It is currently scheduled to take place at lunchtime in Italy on Sunday afternoon, although that may change based on the fact that the Derby Della Capitale between Roma and Lazio has been moved to Monday by the Prefect of Rome. A decision on the other fixtures that have to do with the other top four contenders who are still scheduled to play on Sunday is expected soon.
