Barcelona and Monaco have finally reached a final agreement regarding a permanent transfer for Ansu Fati who will remain with the Ligue 1 club.
Fabrizio Romano has an update and says that the two clubs “have now completed all formal steps” of the deal and it’s all sealed.
Fati will move to Monaco permanently for a fee of 11 million euros. It’s previously been reported that the transfer will also include a buy-back option or a sell-on clause.
The transfer is also expected to see Barcelona return to the 1:1 rule before the summer transfer window opens on June 15th.
Fati scored 12 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season on loan as the team finished down in seventh place in the Ligue 1 table.
The club changed managers in October and are expected to announce another new coach shortly, with Filipe Luis expected to take over.
Good luck at Monaco, Ansu Fati!
