Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we’re talking about Mizzou vs Vanderbilt injury updates
You know the drill. Wednesday marks the first football injury reports released within the SEC — and for the first time all season (with the exception
of Sam Horn and Blake Craig) Mizzou has a clean slate on the injury front.
That means Missouri will be getting some much-needed offensive line depth as Logan Reichert will be available for the first time all season. That’s never a bad thing heading into a Top-15 matchup — especially on the road.
On the Vanderbilt front — six players are listed as “OUT” and cornerback Marlon Jones is ruled as “Questionable” — who has been out since the Alabama game.

And as we inch closer to College Gameday Mizzou vs Vanderbilt game on Saturday — Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick, and Kris Budden will be on the call for the 2:30 kick-off on ESPN.

Eli Drinkwitz and players spoke to media today following its first road victory of the season.
Despite getting the job done, and as much resilience as the Tigers showed, Drinkwitz as per usual, is right back to work.
A recap of what Drinkwitz had to say in Tuesday’s press conference.
And then you have what Zion is doing. The whole shabang. Swearing. Shit-talking. Flexing. Being his own hype man. Not five feet from the camera. It was vile and amazing, and should’ve tipped me off that there was no way Mizzou would lose this game.
And so while it’s not technically a play, Zion Young’s outburst at the overtime coin flip is this week’s Disrespectful Play of the Week. Thanks to True Deck for the idea.
Zion Young backed it up with his play in overtime, that’s for sure.
When you win big at a program with the historical record of Mizzou, people and programs take notice. That’s a good thing.
Eli Drinkwitz has been rumored to be a candidate for the Penn State and Florida jobs. Is it a concern that he’ll leave? Hurst breaks down the possibilites.
It’s a conference road game against a Top 10 opponent with the inside track of the Playoff on the line and the eyes of the college football world upon you. Just win.
Beat Vandy.
My Results: Auburn Tigers — 7th in Conference, 9-9
With Steven Pearl now the head coach, Auburn comes to Mizzou on January 14th for the only meeting in the regular season.
We’re still above .500 overall at 25-23 so it’s not panic time yet, but we need a get-right week. I think we have it here in Week 9.
Nathan previews the College Football Week 9 slate from a betting angle.
Mizzou volleyball left the comfort of Hearnes Center with a three-game win streak under its belt for Cape Girardeau to play Southeast Missouri State. The Tigers probably didn’t expect this match to go the distance, but they still claimed the 3-2 win.
Mizzou Volleyball improved to 13-7 overall on the season with a five-set win on the road over OVC preseason favorites SEMO. In the latest bracketology, Dawn Sullivan’s Tigers are projected to be in the field.
