Ismael Saibari has already begun getting a taste of life at Bayern Munich, even if he will have to wait a little longer for the moment he is most excited about.
The 25-year-old recently visited Säbener Straße with his family during a flying trip to Munich, where they were able to look around Bayern Munich’s training ground and meet some of the staff. However, there was one important stop that was missing from the itinerary — the Allianz Arena.
“I’m really excited about the Allianz Arena. I’ve never
played there before. The first time will definitely be special,” Saibari told FCBayern.com.
Unfortunately for the new Bayern Munich signing, his visit did not include a trip to the club’s iconic home. That means his first experience inside the Allianz Arena will have to wait until he is actually pulling on the Bayern Munich shirt and stepping onto the pitch.
In some ways, that could make the moment even more special.
Saibari has already experienced the excitement of joining Bayern Munich, visited the training ground and begun familiarizing himself with his new surroundings. But the Allianz Arena represents something different. It is the stage where the club’s biggest moments happen, and where Saibari will now be expected to make his own memories.
After his impressive performances at the World Cup, expectations are understandably high for the new arrival. Now, he is counting down to the moment when he finally walks into the Allianz Arena as a Bayern Munich player.
The first visit may have been delayed, but the big moment is coming. And when it does, Saibari will finally get to experience the stadium he has been waiting to see.
