Taking the mound for the Olde English D on Saturday in Game 2 is right-hander Justin Verlander, who will make the final start of his illustrious Hall of Fame career. The Detroit faithful are privileged to

see the all-time great wrap things up wearing the Olde English D in the park where so many memories were made.

Opposite him will be fellow righty Kirby Yates, who will make his first and only start of the season. The 39-year-old has dealt with injuries this summer and is also pondering retirement after the schedule concludes.
