It’s early Saturday afternoon so with Purdue not kicking off for a number of hours let’s take a look at the survey results for this week. As a reminder I asked two questions this week, both pertaining
to football. I wanted to check in first to see who you all thought should be starting at the quarterback position. Given the recent mistakes we’ve seen Ryan Browne commit that have, in my opinion, been backbreaking in at least two games, you could argue three if you throw in USC, is it time to make a change? Then, I asked the usual question to gauge your confidence going into this week’s game. Can Purdue upset the Wolverines? Let’s take a look at the results shall we?
Malachi Singleton is the clear winner here with 64% of the vote. I thought this would be closer to 50/50 but it seems most agree with me that we need to give Singleton a shot. It’s just a shame that if he does get moved into the starting role it will be against Michigan on the road. I would’ve liked to have seen what he could’ve done if given the reigns against say Rutgers last week.
We are back down to single digit believers right now. Just 9% of respondents think Purdue will do the unthinkable today and pull off the upset. To that 9% of people, are you okay? Do you need someone to come check on you? I would love to have your optimism but right now that just couldn’t be me. Let’s all hope that the 9% are proven right today.
