Earlier this year, winter came and went without the Atlanta Braves hosting their annual Braves Fest event. The reasoning back then was that they were making some serious renovations to the ballpark in order
to get the place ready for the upcoming season (and the 2025 MLB All-Star Game festivities, in particular). As such, the event was cancelled for 2025 with the hopes of it coming right back in 2026 following a one-year break.
That appears to be the case, as the Braves have announced that Braves Fest will be held on January 31, 2026.
If you’ve never experienced this before, I highly suggest that you go out and take it in for yourself once that time of year rolls around. You get a ton of access to the ballpark (including the field, itself), the chance to meet players and coaches and do a bunch of other Braves-related activities in both the ballpark and The Battery as well. Plus it’s free and folks, you can’t argue with that price of admission. If you’re a local Braves fan then this is definitely a fun way to break up the monotony of the offseason with this winter reminder that baseball season will be right around the corner at that point.
So yeah, while this isn’t the most important thing in the world, it’s still cool to see this event continue to be a thing and that the one-year break was just a one-year break. Will you be going to the event? Let us know!
