Barcelona star Raphinha has sent out a pretty strong message in the wake of Monday’s disappointing defeat to Girona in La Liga.
The Brazilian was back from injury in the game but could not prevent Hansi Flick’s side from slipping to a 2-1 loss against Girona.
The game ended in controversy, thanks to Fran Beltran’s winner which occurred after a foul on Jules Kounde, and Raphinha has now shared his thoughts on social media.
“Well, we have many things to improve, but not just us. It’s very complicated
when the rules are different, whether they’re in your favor or against you, but if we have to play against everyone to win, so be it… We’ll do it. Visca el Barça always.”
While the controversy has created plenty of headlines there’s no doubt that the last two results should serve as a reality check for Barcelona ahead of the business end of the season.
The good news at least is that Raphinha is back from injury, while it’s hoped that Pedri may return at the weekend against Levante.
