The fixtures for the new 2026-27 La Liga season have been released and see Barcelona kick off the defence of their La Liga title at home to Athletic Club.
The new season is due to start on the weekend of August 15th-16th but teams who have players involved in the World Cup final could see their first games postponed until the 25th-27th.

Fans can also start looking forward to next season’s Clasicos. The first game between the bitter rivals will take place on Camp Nou on the weekend of October 25th. The return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu is set for Matchday 35 (likely to be the weekend of May 9th, 2027).
Hansi Flick’s side have won La Liga for the last two seasons in a row and will be aiming for a hat-trick of titles when the new campaign kicks off. They will face an Athletic Club side under new management as Eden Terzic has replaced Ernesto Valverde at the helm.
