This week’s question is about Bryan Reynolds. The man who is supposed to be Pittsburgh’s best hitter is coming off of one of his worst seasons. His .245 average was the second-lowest of his career behind the 2020 season. His 16 homers are also the second-worst next to 2020. Same with his OPS of .720, and his 73 RBIs were his lowest since 2022.
Reynolds will turn 31 before the next MLB season, and his fielding has already slipped. So what we want to know is, do you think that 2025 was just a down year for Reynolds at the plate, or do you think he’s cooked and now on the downside of his career? Is it going to get worse from here on out? Or can the Bucs save him at the plate by DHing him more and taking him out of the field?
