It’s almost time to start focusing on the Green Bay Packers’ next opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals, so let’s tie a bow on the bye week temperature checks. One last question: So far, what has surprised
you the most about the Packers’ 2025 season?
I’ll list a couple that came to mind for me:
- I didn’t think that Matthew Golden and Savion Williams would be our returners for the first four weeks of the season, considering we have Keisean Nixon on the roster and neither of those rookie receivers took a single snap at the position during the preseason.
- The unpredictability at the right tackle position behind Zach Tom, with three new players playing the position in three weeks, was tough to predict.
- I thought that defensive tackle Warren Brinson, who is more of a flexible player than Nazir Stackhouse, would have been active on game days over Stackhouse.
- I probably shouldn’t be surprised, but I didn’t think the team would have committed so hard to Nate Hobbs being an outside cornerback, like they have so far.
- Above all, I don’t think I would have predicted that the team would have gone 2-0 against 2024 playoff teams just to go 0-1-1 against the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns over the last two weeks.
Let’s hear what you guys have.
