Rutgers fans, the football season is upon us once again! The Scarlet Knights are set to kick off the season today vs Ohio University at 6 p.m. at SHI Stadium. that being said, the Bobcats will serve as a good early test for Rutgers. As one of the best teams in the MAC, Ohio has the talent to beat a Power four school. Last season, Ohio gave Syracuse a good fight, but the Orange were able to pull out a win in the end. Their offense has enough firepower to make the Knights’ newly renovated defense sweat.
In addition, this game will show us who the starting left tackle is, something that fans have been speculating about since the start of training camp.
Weather wise it looks like a great day for some football, as temperatures will be around 73 degrees for kickoff, with the sun starting to shine later in the day.
