The NWSL Shield winners will be missing key players when they take on the Chicago Stars tonight at CPKC Stadium.
The KC Current listed Hailie Mace (lower leg) and Kayla Sharples (lower leg) as OUT for tonight’s NWSL home regular season match versus Chicago Stars.
Sharples played the full match and Mace played the entire second half in last week’s 2-0 win versus Seattle Reign.
With that victory, the club made history as the fastest to ever clinch the NWSL Shield. They are on pace to be the most dominant
team in the history of the league.
