Chelsea have lots of business still to complete in the final few hours of the transfer window, and we just might be able to combine a couple of them to make our lives easier. Shockingly, it might involve dealing with Tottenham Hotspur, which is certainly a rarity.
Mykhailo Mudryk seems to be the central piece to the equation, with Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi willing to help his former Shakhtar charge get his career back on track. Chelsea wanted Mudryk to go to Strasbourg, and had rejected an approach
from Leeds United, but Misha wants to stay in London, and who can blame him for that.
So Spurs are willing to take him on loan, but apparently our condition for letting them do that is to also take Tosin Adarabioyo, and take him on a permanent transfer. Tosin’s Chelsea career has certainly run its (brief) course, and he looks to be at the very bottom of the center back pecking order now. And we’ve got new leaders now, and a new best friend for Cole Palmer, so “Uncle Tosin” is free to go.
